These Terms govern your use of Nestory, a household inventory app operated by EM Labs. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Nestory lets you track household and grocery inventory, manage shopping lists, scan barcodes, and add items by scanning receipts. Features available to you depend on your plan.
Your account
Provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and you are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer it, or upload content you do not have the right to use.
Plans, subscriptions & purchases
- Starter is free and includes manual inventory and barcode scanning.
- Receipt scanning is a paid feature. You can use it by purchasing a one-time scan-credit bundle, or with the monthly scan allowance included in a Premium or Elite subscription.
- Subscriptions and scan-credit bundles are sold and processed through the App Store using your Apple ID. Prices and what each plan includes are shown in the app at the time of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Scan credits are consumable, are used for receipt scanning, expire 12 months after purchase, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple in line with App Store policy and applicable law.
Restore purchases
You can restore an active subscription on a new device using Restore Purchases in the app. Scan credits are tied to your account and are available whenever you sign in.
Receipt scanning
Receipt scanning reads your receipts on a best-effort basis. Please review the extracted items before saving — results can vary with receipt quality and formatting.
Availability & disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nestory and EM Labs are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using Nestory and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms and will revise the date above when we do. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
